My sister used to date trent and is now friends with his wife. She says trent may have a broken collar bone. And could be out for 8 weeks or more.

Just saw the hit guys...that was pretty scary. For the record, I'm glad he's OK and hope this doesn't cause him to lose game time...although I think he probably sits next week. Shame to see a great competitor go down on some BS like that.

Can't hit the Qb in the head, and you can't engage after he has started to slide. Geather's engaged before Trent slid, and any hit to the head was incidental due to the block from Kennison. I wasn't at the game but saw the reply a million times in 4 different angles thanks to DVR. Geathers was trying to get to him before the slide which is what you are supposed to do.

I am more worried about Herm's post-game interview when he said that we would be going with Huard next week, without a second thought. If Trent is only out short-term I can agree with using Huard but if he is out for 5 or 6 games I would like to see our QBOTF in there getting some reps.
