Peter King's Picks

There's no love for our defense here.

Matt Leinart is the right man to lead this team, and a 70-percent passing day shows it.

You must be right, Mr. AndChiefs.

Last week he was 5 of 8 for 49 yards and a pick and a sack and a big howdy do.

King must have been assraped in Kansas City once. His hatred of all things Chiefs has moved beyond absurd.

No, no. If that had happened, his memories would be fond....and he'd probably LIKE the Chiefs.

He probably got rejected at a gay bar while he was visiting town once, and was disappointed by the lack of more "diverse" night life in a Red state.

IMO, King's hatred of the Chiefs comes from when he gave an interview on Grunhard and Maas's show. They were asking him his thoughts on Vermeil, and he started his response with "I love Dick". Of course, the engineers got a hold of that, and you heard Peter King saying "I love Dick" for weeks on end.

Obviously, he takes offense to people knowing he loves Dick.

I actually enjoyed reading his MMQB articles. Then I saw him for the first time on NBC's sunday night football. Dear God, how is this guy even associated with organized sports.

I've spent the past 30 minutes looking for the last time an Arizona Cardinals QB had a 70% completion percentage for a game......

September 26, 2004.

Arizona @ Atlanta.

Atlanta wins 6-3.

Josh McCown completes 20-26 (76.9%) for 198 yards.

Warner came close twice last year, both against the Rams......

i posted this in another thread. Leinart has the potential to be our next elway. get ahead early and make him have to pass. if we do this then this will be a game Leinart will want to forget. if the game stays close then you have a potential for him to do an elway on us. no thanks!

No matter what happens I wish we had him as our QBFTF, he's going to
be a great QB! Very smart guy! Brady like, tough too.

Too bad King doesn't have money removed from his Paycheck when he spouts off and is wrong.

He would be alot quieter.

I'll go with Vegas odds makers...The don't make BS predictions or they
are outta work/dead.
