drunk? why do you not like my opinion face facts. Green and his agent went and only negotiated with one team cutting down our options. Then said it was all the chiefs fault cause we wouldn't accept the dolphins fair trade. Are you freaking kidding me? a 7th rounder for Green? They low balled us and worked to gether with the dolphins to screw us over. F Green and his agent . I personally hope we do eventually trade him and our D when we play them destroys him. Everyone wants us to show respect to Green but is he showing our team any respect why don't you ask yourself this question.

Green doesn't have much of an option since he would only talk to Miami. They don't want to fess up the goods, so Trent is stuck with the results.

So let me get this straight. If you were in the same situation (due 7 mil per a contract with the Chiefs) you would have restructured and taken much less money so that the Chiefs could do whatever the hell they wanted with you. You make it sound like Trent owes you something, like he has no right to do whats best for himself and his family. The guy operates with honor and always takes the high road, but you talk about him like T.O. or something!

The results being

1. Playing for his present team for alot of money

2. Being cut and playing for Miami for less money.

Either way I doubt he's gonna lose sleep.

Meanwhile, Al Saunders is licking his chops, waiting for Green to be released. Dan Snyder has his Cross pen at the ready to sign the check.

yeah you're right my bad. I guess the chiefs should have traded him to miami for the end of the seventh because we owe him. Right because he is such a good guy. Whatever man we are both right yes he doesn't owe the chiefs but the chiefs deserve to get equal compensation or what they feel it is. For me I don't want him on my team anymore. I remember what they asked him last year in the draft when we drafted brodie about how he could mentor a young qb. His phrase was back he is the starter and whatever rookie came in would have to know that, but he would help. At that time I was like yikes he won't mentor our young qb. I hope we can still get something for him but his agent is a real a@@ and leaked to the media how we need to be fair to trent blah blah.

Or they can trade their 3rd round draft choice next year and go 6-10 with Trent. We aren't making a playoff run this year so what is the point? If you guys don't want Trent because he is old, injured, blocking Brodie, poor behind a poor line, not what he used to be or whatever, why would we? We are in the same boat as the Chiefs--only we suck worse. We are both rebuilding. If you don't want him, why do we? And most of you don't want him. Some will take him but based on what I have read, most of you don't want him. You would rather trade him for a draft choice than keep him. Well, we would rather keep a draft choice then trade it for him. Isn't that logical?

Look at it another way. If Trent wasn't a Chief, what would you give up to get him? Afterall, he could mentor Brodie another year. And he might win 1 or 2 more games than Brodie. Would you give up a 2nd for him? A 3rd? A 4th? Remember, you are rebuilding and need draft choices.

Exactly. I guess I never understood why Miami was even "supposedly" willing to part with a 5th.

I think Carl cut his nose off to spite his own face on this one. I'm fine with Green starting at this point. Since Carl didn't do much to help our O-line, he can be cannon-fodder. We are going to need all the QBs we can get.

But now we're ****ed cause the Chiefs told him they didn't want him anymore.......that's the real part where the Chiefs messed it up. Letting him negotiate a deal with Miami, telling him he isn't the guy anymore all that sorta stuff that wasn't smart unless they were going to 100% move him.

Now you have a player that thought he wouldn't be here now.......who doesn't want to be here.

Green's agent has nothing to do with trade compensation. That is the ONLY thing that is keeping Trent here. Last time I checked Carl was in charge of that.
