man, what a ****ing performance for greinke!! The kid's got all the confidence in the world, i just hope to god he can carry it over to next season. Man, this is the first time in a long ass time that ive been really excited about this season being over so that we can see what we got next year. Man, this could be a prety kick ass team next year, if we add at least 1 power bat to the lineup. Andruw jones would be a nice pickup.

I too was shocked at the lack of offense this year.

I think they need to add a proven "Big bat" to the lineup though.

There are no gurantees that these young guys will ever fully develop. Teahan has proven he can hit, but has zero power.

This year his power numbers have dropped significantly. Last year, he had 18 HR's in 393 AB's. That projects to ~25 for a full season. My bigger concern is his failure to produce with RISP, especially striking out. You can't be batting in 3-5 hole, have limited power and whiff at the plate every 4.2 AB's.

He needs to get that figured out, or he needs to find a new home. Your RF'r needs to produce runs.

We were at the game sitting about 15 rows behind home plate and Zack was smokin',he was still hitting 95 in the 8th inning. We left top of the 9th because I got pissed,I just don't understand with a 3-0 lead and a 2 hitter going why he couldn't finish his own game.

Bell said they had him on a 100 pitch count. He hit 101 in the 8th. I can understand that. They're easing him back into the rotation - plus, they're pretty consistent about specific pitchers and their pitch counts. Meche and Bannister are the only 2 pitchers that have carte blanche on pitch counts

If you get the guys up in the bigs that will increase the team batting average to .270 - .280, you will see the increased run production.

I will definitely agree that they need to find someone who will be able to hit 35 - 40 home runs.

I would like to see 3 - 4 guys on the team that will be able to hit 20 - 30 home runs in a season. I think that will happen, the team is quite yuoung and they haven't matured as ball players. Once that happens, I think you will see better run production.

We need 3 new outfielders..

Baby Dejesus RBI count is horrible, Emil Brown has as many RBI's with 200 less AB's.. Trade him if we can..

Emil Brown slipped a lot this year.. And he was only average at best last year.. Trade him or release him..

Teahan is a strikeout machine and his bat has been barely average this year.. I would say trade him, but in my heart I would give him one more year to prove himself..

Gathright would get a full chance to prove himself next year as a fulltime starter..

I would bring in Bonds( yeah you can kill me) to play in the outfield part-time and DH when he is not out there.. Hopefully get a new homerun record for the franchise..

I would also try and bring in Aaron Rowand or Tori Hunter for the other spot..

IMO, bring in some quality veteran homerun threats and mix them with our young talent and the offense should be decent.. Hopefully our pitchers Grienke, Meche and Bannister continue what they have done this year.. I would also love to bring in another veteran quality pitcher to see if that can get us over the hump..

no particular order

1. Gathright
2. Pena
3. Rowand/Hunter
4. Bonds
5. Grudz
6. Gordon
7. Buck
8. Butler
9. Teahan(dh)
