Bowe, Gonzalez, Waters, Allen, Hali, Smith and DJ.
Though IMHO, when you look around the league, DJ has been a disappointment. Hali was hampered by injury during his sophomore campaign and still played well. Not great, but well. Behind a good or possibly great offensive line, Kolby Smith may very well be a superstar. |

Probably more of these guys would be starters than we think. The Chiefs have a lot of role players who'd fit in virtually anywhere. Problem is, with a couple exceptions, that's all they have. Hopefully ensuing drafts bring in more Dwayne Bowes.

I guess I am being generous. I picked 12. One I have that isn't getting much attention is Smith. As bad as our line was, he still managed to do fairly well. I don't think LJ looked any better when he was healthy. I noticed Mecca didn't list his starters. I can guess. Bowe, and Allen. I am sure he would cut the rest.

Just starters or guys that can play on good teams? I can list them all out if you really want.

I voted Tony Gonzalez, Jared Allen, Dwayne Bowe, Brian Waters for sure. These guys could start on the majority of the teams. Derrick Johnson and Tamba Hali would if they fit the system, 3-4 they wouldnt but a 4-3 they would for most. Larry Johnson when healthy would start for every team sans San Diego and Minnesota IMO. You look at guys like McIntosh, Harris, Boone, Donnie Edwards, Page, and Pollard and you got gots who are solid starters or good depth on good teams. Chiefs have got a good start IMO. They need a solid draft and a couple of good young free agents to get some more talent in. The big question is if Croyle can take a step in becoming the guy.

I think there are more than just 2 teams that LJ wouldn't start for....

Just think about his age, his mileage and his contract...now which teams would take him?
There are some obviously but there's more than 2. |

It's a pretty logical statement....
LJ is an aging RB with a ton of mileage and a big contract. I'm looking at this rationally there's more than 2..there's some but good lord he wouldn't be starting for numerous teams. |
