ATTN: Royals fans who don't live in KC
I live in Springfield, so we get FSN Midwest here, which shows Cardinals games all the time. I just found out that Dish Network has a sports package for only $5.99 a month. It has tons of FSN out of market networks, NBA TV, etc. I called them up today and they said the package does indeed include FSN Kansas City (which is a new network this year). That channel doesn't show up on the website but it is included in the package (at least here in Springfield).
Here is the link you can order it from if you have DISH Network: http://www.dishnetwork.com/content/w.../packages.aspx |

I might have to check with Direct about getting FSN for the KC area. I had the MLB ticket last year to watch them and I am not sure I ended up catching any more of their games than normal.
Thanks for the heads up.

I think i got royals games last year cause of a cheap sports package too, but i dont remember it having much extra than fsn midwest and some alternate channels or big 10 stuff. If its something new i may have to add it if its got alot more sports stuff out of the region or whatever.
edit-i do have an NBA TV and NHL TV as well so maybe i have it |

MLB extra innings if free thru Sunday and I also got the KC game here on FSMW. I think because it's free all week their showing all games on the Fox sports channels. I guess you'll find out for sure next Monday.

~ side question ~ has anybody found an online source for the audio stream? In the past it always seems some little podunk station in the radio network forgets to turn of their stream... ie in the past KAYS in Hays is where I've always caught it - but it seems they have finally remembered to turn off the stream.
