Recent enough IMO. What you think he's changed his mind the last few months? "Oh I said I expected us to compete for a playoff spot but on 2nd thought I think I'll be happy with 3-13"

That's not the type of comment an owner says without giving it some thought.

Even if he knew the team was going 3-13 he wouldn't say it was ok publicly even if he personally thought it was because it was part of the process.
