I hear his name tossed about in regards to certain trolls, but what was the transgression that this sorry bastard levied against the Planet, and what was the outcome??

"Packfan" was some jerkoff named Ken Deinberg, also from the old Star BB. He posted here for a while, but eventually petered out.

On the old BB, your name would show up, with your screen name in parenthesis behind it, like "Joe Blow (joeblow)." That's why so many of us old timers know each others real names.

The NEPA guy is JD Prez, who runs his BB with a psychotic iron fist. If you ever give this guy your phone number, and EVER disagree with him, expect lots of angry phone calls in the middle of the night. He has posted here occasionally, but the rivalry between the BBs has died down over the past few years.

Nice find. That first page must be pretty close to the beginning of the board (IIRC, I didn't start posting there until 1999 or 2000).

DEnise will be thrilled to see her last name so prominently displayed.

I actually went to a Eagles bulletin board (can't remember which one) and started talking trash about the Barber signing. I know that looks ridiculous in retrospect but it seemed to make sense at the time. Anyhow, I left a link to Chiefsplanet on my last post and several of those idiots bit including American Hero. I played no role in the ensuing hilarity but did play a role in the guy showing up here.

That, and 2 or 3 of us just used our real names...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I think most of the people used their real names back then - the internet was still pretty new. Back before we realized how all the hidden little cyberscumbags could use it against us.

Sweet. Somewhere on there it was me and Proctor arguing against DV and both being about 99% right about what was to come.

I know there isn't a body here high on patting Proc on the back, but hey, throw a guy a bone ...
