How bizarre. I got good customer service on a flight.
I generally expect to be treated horribly by anything involved with an airline, but I got a call this morning from Northwest Airlines. My flight got canceled, and they rebooked me on another flight and sent me an automated message. It actually is ending up as a better flight for me anyway.
THEN, I got a call from a real live person at Orbitz. They notified me that my flight was canceled, and asked if I needed any help getting a new flight. Unless they were going to charge me or something, I thought that was pretty cool. And by the way, how do you get a call at 7:30 a.m. saying that your 1:05 flight is canceled due to weather, but you'll be getting on a 2:20 flight that's still on? I don't quite understand that. |
