What music are you into right now???

I like all kinds of music. Country, rap , rock , classic rock, alt rock, jazz, metal rock, etc.....
right now I'm into "theory of a deadman". I've got a Rhapsody account and like to change my music to fit my mood. For the past week I've been into "theory of a deadman" Bad Girlfriend. which is an excellent song by the way..

But my question is ...What are the other Planetteers listening to???

J Saul Kane may be the best ever at instrumental hip hop dub...

Arcade Fire
Aceyalone
Talib Kweli
MF Doom
Drive By Truckers
Ryan Adams (Whiskeytown years as much as anything)
I've been listening to a lot of the same stuff recently. I saw Wolf Parade in concert about a month ago, and they put on a great show.
Also just got into Yeasayer, Port O'Brien, Firewater, Lykke Li, Santogold, and the Walkmen's newest album. Also been re-listening to some M.Ward.

Haven't really found that much in the way of new hip-hop lately to attract my attention other than the Lil' Wayne album, which still isn't as good as his other stuff. I did get the new Nas, but I only like a couple of the songs on the album.
Because of that, I've been going back an listening to older Lupe Fiasco, Madlib, Atmosphere, and David Banner (but not his newest album). I was watching an episode of The Wire and it made me want to go through and re-listen to Ludacris just for the funny lyrics.

This week, I came across one of the Van Halen best of albums. So I got that going. I hadn't listend to "Everybody Wants Some." in a while. So I had to!

Otherwise nothing new or released in the past year. (I generally try and find something new from either an old favorite or try and take a chance on something I've never heard.)

Andrew WK
Baroness -The Red Album (my head is still trying to wrap around this album.)
Colisium
Dillinger Escape Plan-Ire Works (Usually it's blast beats, however they slowed it down w/ good songs that sound like a heavier Faith No More.)

I recently bought Dr Dre's the Chronic. I forgot how awesome that record was.

Every Time I Die-The Big Dirty.---These guys probably write the best guitar riffs of the decade.

Otherwise I have a heavy dose of George Thorogood, Misfits, Unsane, Black Flag and the Bronx.

I highly recommend seeing them live. They're incredibly (still an understatement) physical in their show w/ how they move and just w/ how violent they are when they play. Yet they still sound awesome.

I caught them in Springfield a couple years back, and the singer just randomly started breathing fire at the end of the show. It was like........WTF!!??!?!?
