1-3 in those games. The 3 losses were by 12 points.

He is accurate in the spread on the road. That's the point.

Not sure how you got that (there's been 7 touchdowns and a total of 63 points scored in the second half since they adopted the spread). But I agree that there is no doubt his production drops off in the second half.

But all the points his detractors have ARE valid -- I just think it's worth it for the team to give him another season to see if he can improve.

I'll be more worried about 2nd half stats next season. People forget that Gailey has a really thin spread playbook. There's not much you can do with adjustments in the 2nd half when your playbook is that simple and that thin.

I'd like to see how Thigpen operates given a full preseason to learn the offense and learn to take snaps under center, a full offseason to work with receivers and timing, etc.... The Chiefs need to bring in a rookie to compete for the starting job, but I think Thigpen has done enough to earn the right to at least earn a half-year next year.

Since the Jets game we have scored two touchdowns in the second half ON THE ROAD. Look it up.

Thigpen is just not accurate enough. He is sucking ass in Cincy so far.
