I'd take my chances lining him up next to Harvin.

Maclin's extremely fast. I know it's hard for the SEC folks to believe, but athletes do exist outside of the deep south.

I'm not talking about Harvin, although Percy is amazingly quick in pads.

Sure, but the comment was the fastest person in pads, not the fastest person with size. Louis Murphy for Florida is 6'3" 205 and runs a 4.3

Scary...sounds like Taylor Mays.

What I've seen from Maclin though, is great acceleration. He gets up to full speed in 3 or 4 strides. To me, that's what separates him from the players with "track" speed. Not saying Demps doesn't have that acceration...don't know much about him.

I understand. I was reading an article the other day that said that Percy tops out at something like a 1.73 in 20yds. That would equate to a 3.46 40

I remember his freshman year the very first game I was in the stands and this new guy wearing #8 got the ball and I immediately looked at my friend and said, "Oh my God, that guy is FAST! He's at a different speed than everyone else."

Florida is so fast on both offense and defense it is ridiculous. OK is going to be lucky to score 21 IMHO.
(I'm pulling for Stoops to get another ring but I can't see Florida losing)
