Any interest in ChiefsPlanet swag?
I know a few years back Phobia had a bunch of ChiefsPlanet t-shirts and hats made up, then sold them over the years as people wanted them. I don't personally think there's enough demand to do something like that, but I wondered if there would be interest in setting up a CafePress or Zazzle account where stuff could be printed on-demand. I threw this together a while back, which should give you the basic idea:
(link removed) Anyway, if I refined that, would anybody be interested in it? Quality wouldn't be nearly as good as the stuff Phobia had probably, but it'd be better than nothing. Update - The store has been born and can be accessed here: http://www.zazzle.com/chiefsplanet Last edited by DaFace; 02-06-2009 at 09:42 PM.. |

Looks like there's at least enough interest to try it out (since it doesn't cost anything to get started). I'll check with the web site owner and the artistic designer to get permission first, then throw something together in the next few weeks.

Would love it if we could have some logo on the front or back and our username on it somewhere? |

As long as they don't shrink by 2 sizes on the first wash/dry, I'd be in.

I think I'd look great in that thong.
One of the things Phobia had problems with if I remember was that many were interested when asked but few bought when it came time to part with their money. I'd multiply your positive results with a (-.5) to get a more realistic outcome. |

I'd go with Zazzle. I like the options on there better. I'd definitely buy that bumper sticker. I wouldn't put it on my car, but I would probably put it up somewhere at work or home. There were also magnets, which I wouldn't mind having for my fridge. I stick up coupons with them, and the ones I have are kind of outdated.

Oh, I didn't get hit. In the end I got enough to make our investment back and then a little bit but nowhere near what initial demand was despite how giddy people were about the quality. I finally donated the rest of the inventory to a local charity because we really got tired of stepping around boxes. I wouldn't do it again but it wasn't all bad.
