Dollhouse: Anyone gonna check it out?
Premiers tomorrow. Looks pretty interesting. (Nice eye candy too.)

I thought it was a solid episode, enough to get me to watch it again next week.

It'll definitely challenge Eliza, since she's going to have be playing a completely different role each episode (ala Scott Bakula in Quantum Leap, but moreso).

I've never thought of her as a very strong actress, so it's going to be interesting to see if she can pull it off.

Just watched it online. I enjoyed it. It has potential.
Eliza isnt the greatest actress, but its pretty obvious she wasnt cast for her deep acting skillz.

I think sooner or later shes going to realize whats going on (w/ the dollhouse) and she'll just become herself for the rest of the episodes, probably not until way later though.

I read somewhere that Whedon said episode 6 is when things start getting interesting. It's probably when they break from the episodic formula of new week, new personality.

I finally got to watch this. I liked it a lot. (Eliza's smokin'. Nice legs...)
It's an interesting concept. It'll be fun to see where they go with it. |

I still haven't watched Terminator from Friday. I'm guessing that's part of the ratings thing (not that me watching impacts the ratings, that I reflect many viewers).

Yeah, fans of certain genres (like these) are more apt to be internet/DVR savvy. I think the nielsen system is out of date.

I don't think I've watched an over-the-air broadcast in months, except for sports (and then, only a few times, since Chiefs games don't get broadcast here in St. Louis every week). Between Hulu, Veoh and Bittorrent, all of my television and movie viewing needs are more than covered, usually within 24 hours of the broadcast.

I'm kinda like you... I watch sports on TV. (If it's not live, it's just not the same.) I do watch TV at times, but it's usually just sort of back ground filler while I do something else. If it's a show I really want to see, I generally find a way to catch it online rather than plan my evening around when it's going to be on. |
