My source says who cares.
All parties to blame. Catch 22 for McDufuss. Trade him and get another one. |

2. If 10 teams are looking for a franchise QB 1 first round draft pick is not going to win the bid. If one team offers a 1st and a 3rd, the next team will offer a 1st and a 2nd and so on. 3. If they do give him a new contract it could send a bad message to the other players. But Denver doesn't need to give Cutler anything..... From Peter King: I asked McDaniels if he feels he'll be forced to trade Cutler. "No,'' he said. "He's got three years left on his contract. We're not at the point where we're going to do it now ... [But] it's probably something we're going to have to talk about. We've been trying to communicate, and I still want to try, but if that's the direction we're headed, we're going to have to talk.'' |

No. If any other players or agents try to use it management says "All franchise QBs fresh off of leading the #2 offense in the NFL with zero running game who just got back from the pro bowl can ask for the same treatment as Cutler."

Your own coach thinks Cassel is a better QB, and Cassel set the bar at a high 2nd round pick.
I think this should be settled by a game of Russian roulette between Bowlen, Cutler and Spider. each required to make one pull of the trigger no matter the previous outcome. The best part is, McDaniels would probably hand them magazine fed .45. |

It's Bowlen's fault. No kid rookie head coach has the power to trade the teams franchise QB without Bowlen's permission. Bowlen should have made it clear that the trade MUST happen or not to pursue it at all. There is no middle ground. You can't risk it with a thin skinned franchise QB.
