NFL Sunday Ticket usage

Spinoff of another thread of course. Just curious to know the Planet's usage of Sunday Ticket. Poll on the way.

I would lose a couple of HD channels if I went strictly OTA right now. CW for smallville and Fox. Once they go OTA HD then I will drop Cox altogether.

The worst part was having to watch the Chiefs on the smallest TV's in the joint (and this was before HD) and you had to get there early (like 9am at the latest) to get a seat.

I'll take rolling out of bed at 9:55am on Sunday morning and flipping on the HDTV in the family room (while simultaneously recording it in 3 other rooms) any day of the week over going to a bar.
Me too.

I wish DirectTV would give a subscriber discount depending how long you've had NFL Sunday Ticket. If you've had it for 5 years....then you get $50 off. If you've had it since they started....then you get $100 off.

Or even better.....as long as you consistently get Sunday Ticket....they should Grandfather you in at the price that you started at.

I stopped 2 years ago. The non-HD games on ST were awful looking. So i inquired about HD...another $100. Screw that.

At that point, I believe that had jacked their prices up by like $20/per year for the previous two years etc.

Now I basically watch the Chiefs, then move on to yardwork/chores etc since the 2nd game televised in KC always sucks major pipe.

They priced me out two years ago. And I had it since it's inception.

Service was stellar. Just too expensive.

Now Now DTV is the one signing the exclusive contracts to carry. If they are willing to pony up the cash whose fault is it?

This was the "straw that broke the camel's back" for me. It's what caused me to dump Sunday Ticket and DirecTV.

$300/year extra for Sunday Ticket. $10/month extra for access to HD channels. Now you want to gouge me for another $100/year for Sunday Ticket in HD? Thanks, but no thanks.

It's probably a wash money-wise for me getting it or going to BWW to watch the games. At least at home I get to watch the game on a big TV, at BWW they usually put the Chiefs game on the small, old TVs.
