Wireless keyboard/mouse recommendations

My Microsuck 6000 keyboard tanked on me last night, so I'm on the market for a new one. I was generally unhappy with the old one even before it quit working, the range was crappy and it lagged.

Does anybody use wireless keyboard/mouse that they actually like?

Oh **** yeah.

I got the Gyration mouse/keyboard tonight. I'll set it up tomorrow.

Good deal fraz, let us know how you like it. FWIW I have a cheap M$ wireless set also, but haven't had problems. Had a different M$ set forever before that and the mouse finally quit.

My take on them is that they aren't terribly ergonolmic or convenient, but for the money I paid it is fine. Plus we have the crappy bottom of the line dell keyboards at work so it seems like an upgrade.

I hooked it up last night, and it's pretty cool. The air mouse function is taking some getting used to, especially gaming (hard to disassociate the trigger from shooting), but I like it. Of course, it functions like a normal mouse on a hard surface as well.

Cool man. Do you have a need for a gyro mouse or is it just something cool?

It's new and shiny.

This is mainly a replacement for a broken keyboard, just one with a great deal of firepower.

Very cool. I totally understand that. I'm glad you like it.

I've poked around a few times at new keyboard/mouse combos. It appeared to me at the time that they were all trying to one-up eachother in terms of benefits/style whatever. I didn't look too far, but it seemed I couldn't fine one that wasn't made at the cheapo depot that didn't have a load of crap I didn't want or found annoying.

Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave - Wireless Keyboard & Laser Mouse Combo

Bought one of these to use for my laptop. Took a little bit to get used to the shape of the keyboard, but now, I can fly on this thing vs. my old laptop's cramped keyboard. Highly recommended and it doesn't eat batteries like others I've had.
