Nothing in particular.. just a whimsical glimpse into the future to mess with the 2012 people. lol Though, If you want to read into it in an overly analytical sense, I'm sure the idea could be applied to real-life scenarios somehow.

I see a large blue phallus in the background. Does this mean society worships masculinity, or do you just personally love that part of the male anatomy?

I'm just kidding, by the way.

When you make the movie you should give a longer look at the finished piece. There was not really enough time to take in the final work. Sure, the user can pause the movie, but the impression given from the movie is that the process is the art and the final product (painting) is disposable. Maybe that's what you're after?

If you go everywhere lookin' for dicks, you're gonna find one bro!
But if you decide to look at it that way, for whatever reason, the "phallus", as you put it, is actually destroying society, which is kind of a lapse in interpretation on your part because there are no relevant signs of "worship" in the piece... so you might have just let it slip that you WORSHIP phalli. Like I was saying before about the id... homeboy didn't understand it because his internal definition of art was not syncing up with the painting... and for some reason, yours makes you see dicks. I think you need to do some soul-searching.

* just saw your edit... one person says it, then everyone else sees it... it's like falling dick dominoes. lol

you're right about there not being enough time.. i couldn't really get a good still with my cam, and with the degradation of stream, the awkward size of the piece wouldn't give that great of a look at the painting anyway. I figure if people want to see it closer they can go to my website. (which doesn't have a photo of this one just yet, as I'm in the middle of a move)
The movie is basically to enhance the popularity and value of the image itself over time. I like the idea that the process is the art.. but it's not disposable, just poor quality from a starving artist. lol

Naturally, it represents the ravaging capitalist cock about to destroy the tender socialist vagina...

You need to brush up on your Red metaphors...

Actually It was pretty awesome to see it made. I'm a glass artist and that was very cool to watch and very cool looking. Not surprised Iowanian doesn't get it.
