Damn...that's a lot of work brah.
I can probably list a few from the 2000's I dig. Radiohead - Amnesiac Modest Mouse - The Moon and Antartica Sigur Ros - ( ) Bright Eyes - Lifted Cursive - The Ugly Organ Taking Back Sunday - Tell All Your Friends At The Drive In - Relationship of Command The Mars Volta - Deloused in the Comatorium Q and Not U - Different Damage Brand New - The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me Eminem - The Marshall Matthers LP The Game - Documentary Kanye West - College Dropout I really need to start buying CD's again. I listen to lots of singles and collections from artists; but I've sort of lost appreciation for an album as a complete work of art because I download pretty much everything I listen to anymore. |

Bright Eyes - I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning White Stripes - Elephant Arcade Fire - Funeral The Shins - Chutes Too Narrow Top 5, but I could go 50 easily. Maybe if I find the time I will.

I'll post the top 5 of my top 10 lists for each year of this decade. It won't be the most accurate favorite 50 of this decade for me, as I may like one year's 6th and 7th albums more than another year's 4th or 5th. But its going to be close enough.
In order of year & preference in that year, not in preference of 50-1: 2009 (so far) 1.) Kalisia - Cybion 2.) Porcupine Tree - The Incident 3.) maudlin of the Well - Part the Second 4.) Brother Ali - Us 5.) Devin Townsend Project - Ki 2008 Opeth - Watershed The Mars Volta - Bedlam in Goliath Ayreon - 01011001 Tech N9ne - Killer Agalloch - The White (EP) 2007 Cage - Hell Destroyer Porcupine Tree - Fear of a Blank Planet The Lord Weird Slough Feg - Hardworlder Porcupine Tree - Nil Recurring (EP) Brother Ali - The Undisputed Truth 2006 (I could put this whole year's top 10 in my fav 50, alas) UneXpect - In A Flesh Aquarium Tool - 10,000 Days Agalloch - Ashes Against the Grain Bob Dylan - Modern Times Deadsy - Phantasmagore 2005 Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am That's What I'm Not Opeth - Ghost Reveries Porcupine Tree - Deadwing Felt - A Tribute to Lisa Bonet Dark Tranquility - Character 2004 Ayreon - The Human Equation Pain of Salvation - BE Angra - Temple of Shadows Crotchduster - Big Fat Box of Shit Disillusion - Back to Times of Splendor 2003 The Lord Weird Slough Feg - Traveller Psycroptic - The Scepter of the Ancients Vintersorg - The Focusing Blur Kamelot - Epica Katatonia - Viva Emptiness 2002 Agalloch - The Mantle Porcupine Tree - In Absentia Pain of Salvation - Remedy Lane Deadsy - Commencement Falconer - Chapters From A Vale Forlorn 2001 Sigh - Imaginary Sonicscape Opeth - Blackwater Park Kamelot - Karma Falconer - Falconer Children of Bodom - Follow the Reaper 2000 Symphony X - V: The New Mythological Suite Pain of Salvation - The Perfect Element (Pt. 1) Lykathea Aflame - Elvenfris MuDvAyNe - L.D. 50 Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven |

I'm with Rain Man. Unfortunately, aside from Dylan and Nino Rota, I have little idea of what it feels like to be passionate about music. I do love Mozart, and listen to him in my car. I also have some Gregorian chant on my mp3 I listen to on campus that puts me in the right mood. But it makes up a small part of my existence. The only reason I could name 50 albums is because Dylan has about 40 alone.
