Hence why the Rams are a hot commodity. You can move the team in 2014.

No shit.
That's because in the age of the Internetz, people are now incapable of differentiating between a rumor, speculation, or in Schefter's case, just throwing out 5 trades he'd make at the deadline.

Hell, on more than one occasion, he did a mock Bronco offseason the day after the season ended in the Denver Post with all his hypothetical "moves". Didn't make any of it a rumor, it was something the Post had him write because fans wanted to see it.

Actually the Royals did have several people that wanted them-but the MLB in all their wisdom gave it to cheap ass Glass because they figured he had deep Walmart pockets.

As far as the Cheaps-the win loss record speaks for itself. Hunt has zero business being the decision maker.

CLark won't sell. But the fact remains that the fans will not continue to pay premium prices for a shit product. They were advertising tickets as low as $35. He has run the team into the ground.

I honestly think DJ will be traded by Tuesday.

The staff has given up on him and have no reason to play him the rest of the season.

He is healthy by all accounts.

Pioli has extra LB's on the roster.

He does have some value to a team looking for a 4/3 LB.

Clark Hunt may, or may not be cheap, but he isn't the one that hired Carl Peterson, and let him hang on for 10 years longer than he should have.

He got behind a plan to rebuild put forward by Herman ****ing Edwards after his father died, and when it became apparent to him going into the final quarter of the second season of that plan that Herman ****ing Edwards and Carl Peterson weren't getting it done, he made sweeping changes.

He may prove, in time, that he's not the right guy to be making decisions, but until we actually have the time to find this out, you are doing what you usually do, talking out of your ass.

The buyers were...

Rush, George and the founder of Gateway Computers...no numbers announced.

Jerry Greene....he bank rolled WHB and owned Union Bank rumor was the bid was @ $50 million, but he couldn't put up the money without a lot of investors. Not a popular formula for MLB.

Lamar Hunt and the two guys from Westar that went to jail. Bid @ $35 million.

And, David Glass.

There were not many people interested in buying the Royals.
