The Associated Press reports Denver Broncos QB Brady Quinn (foot) says his severely sprained left foot is really in bad shape and going to be an issue. Quinn passed his physical with the team Tuesday by taking a large dose of painkillers before the workout , March 16, but was very quiet about his foot during his first news conference with the Broncos Thursday, March 18. Quinn said, "Man I can't believe they really signed me with this type of injury. Doc says it may need amputation. I appreciate you asking."

The Associated Press reports Denver Broncos QB Brady Quinn has made it clear he intends to be the team's starting quarterback in 2010. "I'll put it this way, Even if they do have to amputate my foot I'll still be twice the Quarterback Orton is," Quinn said. "Believe me, whether it's Tom (Brandstater), Kyle (Orton), or myself, we're all quarterbacks , kinda. We're going to be team players first, but we all want to be out there playing."
