Electronics 4.3 inch screen PHONES - Page 2

I can't wait until these things come out this summer. I love a big screen, I am blind as a bat when it comes to small stuff. I have a HTC Mogul and the screen on that is about 2.2 inches. This thing is almost double the screen size of my Mogul, and 30% larger than the I-phone. Can easily watch movies, and I guess Sprint is rolling out Wi-Max to play videos at the highest resolution so far on phones w/ the 4G coverage. All these HTC phones will be running the android system I think, except the HD2 from T-Mobile that runs the new lame windows platform.

My contract w/ Sprint is up in July. I have the old sprint Sero employee plan which is unlimited data, but apparently it isn't compatible for the newer phones. I think unlimited everything plan is $69.99 a month but I somehow finagled a Sprint guy to let me get it for $50 once these phones.

Sprint really isn't that bad. It doesn't have the coverage that Verizon does, but nobody really does. And as far as I know they will be the first w/ 4G. Really great if you are into PDA's and data. As far as value, I don't see how you go wrong w/ Sprint. My experience in the last 3 years I have had Sprint, their customer service has gotten much much better compared to when I started.

Was it still bad 3 years ago? I've been with them for over 5 and it's been suburb for quite some time.

It really wasn't that bad to begin w/ but I have noticed it has gotten better. I was hesitant to go w/ Sprint because everybody you used to talk to and including the "internet media" has such a negative image of Sprint. I really don't have anything bad to say about them. Whenever I have had an issue they pretty much have taken care of it as well.

I haven't changed carriers in over half a decade. Their prices are the best, their service is great, and I'm happy with the phones. I have no reason to go anywhere. Iphones are cool, but not for the money they cost every month.

Can the Ipad take phone calls? I don't think it can, but I have no idea. Pretty soon we will have Zach Morris phone sized PDA's that we have to strap in a holster and have a motorized arm to hold it to our ear when we call out.

Sooo I'm getting sick and tired of waiting for this thing. Why won't Sprint just officially announce when it's coming out. Wouldn't that give people time to figure out if they want to drop their plan and switch to Sprint?

Verizon is rated #1 & Sprint 2nd for service coverage & even all my friends that are attached to their iphone hate AT&T's service. *
I know it's a location issue, but Sprint covers way more areas than att & you can roam for free on verizon with sprint, so that just isn't the case bc att's service is horrible in terms of coverage. *Now, if you do have service it's good, but they have so many deadzones it's sad.

I mean, when the avg iphone user in NYC & San Fran has 1/3 of their calls dropped, that's ridiculous. *It's only 2 locations I know but it illustrates the holes in att's network. This is coming from Gizmodo- which is about as pro Apple as a site can get!

At this point, they should! But if you've been reading about this at all, the rumored release date has been posted numerous times for at least a month and a 1/2, & the release leak info is usually reliable & tends to be spot on, bc it's sprint employees or reps that get the info about it & promotional info for the lauch.

Yeah, I've heard it was June 13th for a month now. I'm just sick of waiting! And sick and tired of holding the battery in to my HTC 6800 (MOGUL) w/ a damn rubber band lol

Just asked a Sprint guy in the mall last night. He told me it would be out in July, but he may have padded his answer so I wouldn't get pissed if it didn't come out in June.

well, gizmodo just had a post about the date & how they spotted a pre order page for it through radioshack, so I'd day the 13th will be it at the latest.
