Can't say I'm overly impressed by the beta so far. Completely different feel then the previous Halo games, maybe I just need to get used to it.

very tough to get into a game, then after you play a couple it kicks you out and you have to wait a couple more hours for the next one. But I guess you should expect that.

Yeah the server went to complete shit today now that anyone can play. Its been awesome the last few days though.

Well, my 360 RROD'd on me right as I went to download the beta. Called Microsoft and got that all taken care of, but I did the towel trick so I could actually play the beta in the meantime (it worked!)

I really like this game. It feels a lot better than Halo 3, and actually reminds me a lot of Halo:CE. You can't jump as high or move as fast, you actually take damage and need to find a health pack to fully recover, you take fall damage, and the pistol has ZOOM.

All in all, I really like it. I was pretty complacent before, but now I'm really excited for the game to come out.

it's pretty fun, the loadout addition makes it more interesting. I think they made a mistake with the way they did things with XP though. You get like +5 points for winning bonus and then you get +200 for everything else. They took out the one thing that Halo had over COD and that is you need to win! winning is important! I haven't played anything but Slayer, so I don't know if the objective games are ruined by this quite yet, but expect it.

Why the hell can this not be downloaded in the background? I start the download and then it won't let me do anything but sit there and watch it. If I hit B to go back and do something else it stops the download permanently. WTH?

Such as, drinking Dom Perignon ’53 above the temperature of 38 degrees Fahrenheit. That’s just as bad as listening to the Beatles without earmuffs.
