Tell ya what, Rainman. "Freshly showered woman" is really just shampoo and soap. That violates the 'amateur' rule as it's all man-made. As such, disqualify FSW and it frees up a spot.

The judges would rule that "freshly showered woman" is indeed an amateur scent, because it is not a single commercial scent but rather an unintended and non-manufactured combination of scents, as confirmed by your "shampoo AND soap" diagnosis.

But honestly I'm not sure how it made it this far. In my opinion, freshly showered woman is a pretty mediocre smell compared to the four you mentioned. But I guess that's why we play the games.

'Hamburger and Onions' votes should be given to 'Pot Roast'. After all, both are beef and onions. Pot Roast is clearly the superior version of the two, what with not being pre-chewed, more consistently higher grade of meat, additional roasted carrots, etc.

'H&O' is a flim flam of the magnificence of 'PR'!!

I hope there aren't any laws against campaigning in close proximity to a polling place.

Post roast sucks ass. Might as well make Corned Beef a choice.

This poll is about smells......aroma, fragrance, odor, scent.

Look down if you will upon the appearance, texture or flavor of a pot roast, and granted its quiet simmer doesn't have the auditory flair of its distant cousin, the grilled steak. But when it comes to aroma, the pot roast plays second fiddle to no other cut of braised beef.

I'm sorry if I come across strong, but pot roast means a lot to me.

Still just smells like stew or maybe steak soup.

If it can't even win its own division (cooked beef - steaks on a grill own all), what's it doing getting this far in the tourney?

Sorry Pot Roast, but your nebulous odor combo of beef broth and steamed carrots just doesn't do it for me.

I'm really surprised pot roast is in last place. Cold winter Sunday afternoon, come on, the smell just gives you that warm I'm going to pig out feeling.

I have a feeling that late voters are strategically ignoring the humble pot roast, knowing from posts in this thread that it has no chance to advance.

It certainly illustrates the importance of getting early momentum via pre-poll p.r. efforts. The same thing happened to Rudy Giuliani in 2008.
