The nice thing about all this is that, even after these past few years of horrendous football, we can still BRING IT!!!!

I was at the Denver game in December 1990 when we(the crowd) got a penalty for being too loud. Elway complained so much that the ref's gave us a penalty which only made us get louder.

Yeah, I think that's why they stopped calling that penalty. It was like a prisoner telling the warden that other prisoners were picking on him. Not exactly gonna make it stop by telling.

That opening was just phenomenal last week. My only complaint is: Though 'original' - they needed a faster vehicle for the fly-over, ...Or those fighter-copters needed to fire out some shots, or something.

I think they should call it the "Denver Clause". Because it's sort of like Santa Clause for Denver - they can only benefit from it because there's not way the rule will EVER work against them, their fan a F'n WEAK!!! And if that doesn't work and they keep the rule on the books, I think teams that play in a freaking dome should be subject to the rule on a frequesnt basis!

What about the time the Boomer Schooner got stuck on the field and Oklahoma got penalized 15 yards on the next kickoff. Now that was awful. Why did they
allow them on the muddy field to begin with. I think Barry Switzer was the coach then.

I remember the Chiefs playing in Pittsburgh, maybe it was '89 or '90, and Steve DeBerg couldn't hear when they were pinned back on the 5 yard line or worse, but the officials didn't care. Then at Arrowhead, we got threatened with a penalty if we didn't quiet down, which pissed most of us off, me included.
