I think I saw a terrorist !
As I was driving home from Arkansas going down I-40 just west of Oklahoma City I was passing a semi truck. I looked over into the cab and the driver was wearing a turbine and had a big beard. Taliban clone. Ok, this may not raise too many red flags but what I saw next did. As I pulled ahead I kept looking at him and he glanced over at me. I looked into his eyes and what I saw was horrific. He had an angry look. A mindless look . A look that he was on a mission and the mission was to destroy me, my family and all of the free world .

A feeling came over me that I cannot explain. I felt helpless but felt if I didn't do something I may feel guilty the rest of my life for not intervening. What did he have in his truck I thought to my self and where was he going with it. What should I do. I must doing something to head this off. Thoughts raced through my mind.

OK, I have a pretty big truck, I could run him off the road , No, that would endanger my family. I could follow him into the next truck stop and offer him a bacon sandwich, if he accepts I know he's OK. So, I rolled down my window and yelled at him, "Where ya headed". He yelled back "Denver". So I just gave him the thumbs up and drove on in.

Was that profiling ?

I'm certain that the driver you were talking about was a Sikh and not middle eastern. Sikhs are from india and not similar to middle easterns folks at all in fact, Christians are more similar to middle easterns than Sikhs. Secondly, I have many members in my family who drive a truck to support their families, to put food on the table so to speak.

I'm certain this fellow was just minding his own business and does not want to be bothered because in the past, especially in the Midwest and I have family members who have confirmed this they have experienced racial taunts that no one ever should deal with.

I hope this racially motivated thread goes away because I would expect better from fellow chiefs fans.

FYI, I am also a Sikh and have experienced a lot from ignorant folks when travelling from canada.
