Are you not funny, or are other people just too stupid to get your humor?

I see a lot of folks on here who seem to think they are funny, but they really aren't (myself included). The question then becomes are you just not funny or are other people too stupid to see how funny you are.

Poll forthcoming.

People here seem like they're smart enough to appreciate my humor, but in real life I don't think people think I'm funny. I think my delivery isn't good enough in real life. That, and I lean more toward standing alone in the corner and watching people in real life, so I don't say half of what I would say in an online conversation.

Judging by the number of reps I receive(the true marker of funnyness) I'm freaking hilarious.

The voices in my head tell me I'm hilarious.
My wife, however, constantly reminds me that I am not funny, in her opinion.

Who are the funniest people on the CP?

Rooster?
Booger?
Fax?

Who on the CP makes you laugh? I mean, not by accident or by their amazing stupidity?

I gotta VERY dry sense of humor...some like it, others do not.

My favorite comedian is Norm MacDonald, hands down...most people I'm crazy for that. I think he's hilarious however.

It's funny, I just read that he signed a deal with Comedy Central for a new show.

weekend update meets the sports world???? I'll take it!!!!

This show hopefully is funny. I've been disappointed in Norm's sitcom work, though his stand up IMO is hilarious.

They'll need other people on there. The problem, I think, is that sports stuff is only funny when it happens. It won't be much good on re-runs, and they'll need to turn shows around based on recent stories. Just my opinion. I don't think gags based on months old stories will work.
