They should have made a bigger deal of dropping it in the new CBA they just approved less than a year ago.

That's what pisses me off about these players that threaten holding out of they get franchised. They just freaking approved the use of it yet want to throw a fit every time they get franchised.

Because the tag salary under the new CBA is considerably lower than it was before. Perhaps seeing that low number will encourage Bowe to push for a deal.

I'm not a bit worried about Bowe post-gettin paid. He's a beast and has a strong head on his shoulders. He does drop some passes, but the good certainly outweighs the bad and he's the type of player that wants to be great.

BTW, the deadline to tag a player comes before FA starts, so this isn't a possible scenario.
