If this rumor Clark handed Pioli a poison contract this season is true, it would not surprise me if Piholi is canned today.

He's doing all these interviews as a defense mechanism. It's not at all a sign of his job status, one way or the other.

New ownership. Bad for us re: top QB pick.

I don't think Pioli is gone yet. You'll need a few more embarrassing home losses for him to be fired during the season.

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if Clark is waiting until the end of the season to do it.....but if we continually get blown out.....then he'll pull the trigger earlier if need be.

i listened to Philly sports radio for years and every fan that would call in HATED Joe Banner.
The fact that he not only still has a job in the NFL and is replacing someone is sad. Banner will ruin the Browns like he did the Eagles. The entire city of Philly hated him. He was their Pioli for years |

Weeden tanks 5 games in and Holmgren is held accountable. Axed over the QB choice.
Hint. Clark.

I'm kind of surprised. Cleveland has been playing tough most of the year.

The Browns might be a more talented team than the Chiefs. It comes down to the schedules now. Guess we better take a look at the Cle schedule remaining.
