Matt Cassel healthy - benched
Just heard on the radio. At Romeo's presser today, he announced that Brady Quinn is the starter this week. No word on if he's the starter going forward, but Cassel was not mentioned as part of the injury list.

We finally got our wish. Matt Cassel, healthy, has been benched due to performance.

My only hope is that this does not spark a run to six wins.

But hopefully this spells the end of the embarrassment that was/is Matt Cassel - NFL starting QB.

That's not what we are doing. We are done with this guy. On to the next. We know the choices are dismal, but that's no reason to stay put.

To some degree, Pioli got this team into this mess, we are getting them out of it.

Cassel is bad and there is no chance he will improve at this stage of his career.

Quinn is bad but there is an outside chance of improvement. We're ready to fry for a chance instead of wasting time with our sure thing.

I actually think that Cassel is better than Quinn so this is not great news. It should only help the draft position.

Things are shaping up for them take a QB in the first round next year. Just wish they would have seen this last year. Luck, RGIII were better prospects than Smith or Barkley. I will still be excited to see them draft one though..but not Landry Jones.

So they have admitted their failures, and after 6 games have done what most said needed to be done in the offseason. It's inexcusable for this regime to last another year. They threw this year away, and better pay for it. What a ****ing joke. This organization is an absolute embarrassment.
