Really can't understand taking a shot on a character guy like Commings but not Rogers.

These were almost all measureables picks. Every guy they selected, save Johnson, had superior measureables for the position.
It's an interesting strategy, but a lot of these guys are long on potential and short on production.

I actually like the draft. The no 2nd rounder sucked cause there was a lot of talent there.
Kelce is a nice pick, knile has some dermarco Murray in him if healthy, nico is a solid ilb |

Last two picks kind of baffling, although thr Princeton guy may be a steal? I would have preferred to take a flyer on either Dysert or Bray, with one of the last two picks,at least for training camp arms, who knows , they may have impressed?

...and as it turns out we're almost always right to be upset over the picks, because the players virtually all end up sucking in the end. It's happened year after year after ever living year. Funny how that works out. Maybe we aren't all so stupid after all. Hopefully this will be the rare offseason in the last decade plus where we're actually wrong in saying these picks are head scratching, that they all turn into studs, and a window into years of winning opens. (Although, to be honest, I should add that I'm not actually upset about this draft aside from the horrendous trade for Alex Smith, the Knile Davis pick and the K-State fullback. I think the rest of the picks do make some sense, even if they're all boring.) |

It's hard to think of Davis as a fumbler.
In order to fumble, he'd actually have to see the field.

We had the top pick.
It should have been the most exciting draft in team history. It was a big wet fart.

When it comes to our picks, CP has been right on most of them. When it comes to guys that the vocal part of CP wants but doesn't get, we are almost always wrong. |
