Can I just enjoy the ride?

I know, we are perfectly built just good enough for a 1st round loss. We have huge holes.
But can I just enjoy the wins when they come? Can you?

Its funny how our expectations change. If someone would have told us we would have a 12-13 win season a few months ago, everyone here would be ecstatic. now that we are on our way to that, we look for every little thing to nitpic to death.

No, this team isn't perfect, no it probably won't win a Super Bowl. But the main thing is Reid and Dorsey have turned us around and made the Chiefs relevant again. Football in KC is fun again. The future looks bright, even if we do nothing in the playoffs this year.

If you want to enjoy it then enjoy it and stop asking for permission from people who want the Chiefs to fail to prove some bizarre point...

I believe you thinking that you already know how it ends, and its with us not winning shit should have already taken the fun out of it for you.
Every team has holes. Every team can get beat. 9-7 squads win SBs.
You telling me we have no shot at winning a PO game?
I say kiss my ass.

You are full of shit and being a huge coward in not owning it. You can say it is mild criticism, but the butthurt and anger drips constantly with all the whining.

Grow a pair and just own it... I see why you won't though.. because to do so makes you look like a shitty fan.. and that's what some are.

That's fine, I just ask you not to say those are "people like me."
I have yet to "jump down anyone's throat," because I get the doom and gloom.
It is sad that when I log on some of the top threads are several hundred posts of bitching, though. So my first thought was, "Let's just ****ing enjoy this while it lasts."

I'm pretty far from a "casual fan."
And I understand all the discussion. Hell, I agree it sucks!
But isn't CP going overboard just a bit?
I dunno... Maybe not.

No. I think they're a good team despite their record, I think we match up horribly against them, and I think they will play very inspired at home against the league's only undefeated team. I think it will be very ugly (for us).

Funny thing is outside of a SB win, obviously that being the ultimate and not likely conclusion, this season is not going to define Reid and Dorsey's tenure here. It will be what happens long term and nobody has that answer right now.

This is year 1 and it's going better than expected.

Why not enjoy a good season and hell who knows what happens. Nobody predicted 8-0. Maybe we do shock the world.

It's still just step 1 of this FO's tenure and it's been fun so far.

Go look up my posts during the week, reerun. Do it. I ****ing dare you.

You're going to be disappointed with how positive I've been talking about these Chiefs. It's been 80% "Chiefs are awesome!" stuff. Seriously.

I'd post some counter-examples to your assertion, but I kind of hope you inexplicably stop breathing in the next hour. So I'm going to assume you die just to be on the hopeful side. That way I can spend more time doing cooler stuff like masturbating or eating cardboard.
