-- The "I really need help figuring out what the song stuck in my head is" Thread

I can't figure out what song is stuck in my head and it's driving me nuts. Normally I can sleuth these things on my own by grabbing a few lyrics and doing some googling, but it's not working.

And I can't get on with my day when I'm trying to think of these sorts of things.

The song has a melody that is similar to "every little thing she does is magic" (not the dumb chorus, but the other parts). Fairly certain the song I am thinking of is from the 80s, as well.

The singing is sort of mumbly/nasally, and there are multiple guys singing at the same time throughout the song.

I don't know, can anybody help? I'd love to move on with the rest of my day.

EDIT: We found it:

No the melody is very similar to the piano in The Police song, but the piano sounds a bit more electronic in the song I'm thinking of.

That one hip hop song from the 90s that goes "jam... whoa jam... ...jam jam..." or something like that.

One of my coworkers has been driving me batty with it.

It's more like a keyboard in my song, not necessarily a piano. More synthy.

And the singing. It's pretty unique. It sounds like 3 voices combining throughout the song. Their sound is sort of high pitched and slightly annoying, actually.

It might even be falsetto.

What genre are we talking about here? Classic rock? Alternative?

It's more like really soft rock. But, not even rock. I don't think there's guitar.

It's a really light, dreamy song.

It might even be a one hit wonder. The band might have had one or two other songs.
