Former Kansas City Chiefs QB Signs With Cleveland

Former Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, and one-time starting quarterback, Tyler Thigpen has signed a deal with the Cleveland Browns.

QB Tyler Thigpen has signed a contract with the #Browns, source tells http://t.co/AxL2Mqzjbd.

It doesn’t come as too much of a surprise as former Chiefs front office man Ray Farmer is now the general manager for the Browns. Adding some depth at quarterback with someone he already knows is a good move for a first-year GM.

Thigpen was with the Chiefs from 2007 to 2009, and was traded mid-season to the Miami Dolphins in September of 2009. Thigpen started 11 games for the Chiefs in 2008, the last season of Herm Edwards and Carl Peterson. He threw for 18 touchdowns, 12 interceptions and 2,608 yards, with the team going 1-10 in his starts.

Thigpen has been with Buffalo the last two seasons and has not started a game since 2010.

I think that's what they offered, however, when they went to their cabinets, they were bare. All that was left was a note that read "Thanks!----Kyle"

Is there any question that Cleveland will draft a QB with one of their 1st rounders?
Yeah a huge one. Now they have signed Vince Young. The HC has said it is a win now league and you can't win now with a rookie QB.
