Dayton Moore has built the quintessential National League team. Good pitching, solid defense, timely slap hits. Problem is that his team is in the AL. So you're right, this team is not winning anything any time soon.

I never fully subscribed to the thought of David Glass not wanting to win or being too disinterested/incompetent to win, but I can see myself fully endorsing this thought if the Royals end up around 70 wins this year.

I doubt he wants to lose, but I don't think he's very passionate about winning either. There's never any pressure put on his GMs, managers or players.

Our pitching bailed out our shit **** offense. Now that the temps are climbing, batters are finding their swings and making our pitchers look real pedestrian. Combine that with the unacceptable lack of plate discipline or power this team has on offense, and we aren't finishing higher than third in this division.

TL;DR - Basically we're ****ed this year (and yes I know it's only the beginning of May. Feel free to tell me to eat shit if we pull a miracle out of our ass and grab a WC spot).
