Are you ready for the little humans tonight? What's your set-up?

I have all my candy divided and organized as to type in different bowls. I'm pretty anal about how I organize candy by brands.

I will select each candy to match who is at my door. There has to be some automated way of dealing with this, so you can still read or watch TV. Any ideas for that?

I am already snitching bits and pieces. Hope I don't run out.

They are dressed as a princess and unicorn

If it's a sweet child. I give them a choice. If they're aggressive, mouthy or a pain in the butt I give them a shitty candy. If they're big and fat—they get the lowest calorie one or small piece. If the costume is cool—they get extra.

If they're teenagers the candy is the larger ones.

I guess 17-18. They usually come around later at night, when the little ones have gone in. So if I need to get rid of it, I have put it on the front steps for them to take or I just try to get rid of as much as I can.

There was a house on our street all overgrown and looked empty. We thought it was haunted. So we decided to ring the doorbell one year, and a creepy old lady came out that reminded me of the witch in Disney's Snow White who gave out the poison apple. Well, turned out she was handing out apples. Frickin' apples! I was scared, so when I got to her after my friends 'cuz I was the last in line, I screamed, turned and ran away. I used to play Funeral for a friend ( Elton John ) on mine, then pop up out of an old wooden coffin when kids and adults came up to my wife handing out candy years ago. It was a lot of fun watching them scream.

I turn my light off. And the ones that come to the door anyway I give them a Bald Eagle Poker chip to start their degenerate gambling habit early.

Cheese slices? Is that a tradition in some place like Bavaria or Milan?

If I was the neighbor of that person, I'd start handing out crackers to complete the dish.

We've got a cornucopia of candies for the 5 to 10 children who show up at our house tonight. Reese's, Hershey's, Crunch, 100 Grand, Butterfinger, and more.
