Scheme is different and Seattle is using him to occupy instead of attack (like how they used Red Bryant), at least what I've seen so far this year. I think he's at his best attacking.

The only logic factor here is whether or not Seattle re-signs him. I think they'll try to. They have a situation in which they can. They do have some big contracts to sign coming up (Clark, Graham, Thomas...) but should have some older talent leaving soon (Avril, Sherman come to mind)

I can also see a Marcus Peters trade, because of his distaste in being in the Midwest and being " an African American which works against him in KC community"

I would like the Chiefs to get as many pass rushers as possible. They are probably going to see what they have with Tanoh, but I'd like to get another pass rusher at some point to get Frank Zombo off this roster.

Still think that a strong DE to shut down the run should be #1 target for this team.

Peters, Butler, Berry, Revis...could be a really really good secondary!

How do you figure we can get a 1st and 4th for Alex? Garoppolo only returned a 2nd.

This was before the wheels completely fell of and "MVP Alexis" was still in our heads. I've downgraded my thoughts to a 4th at best and might be lucky at all not to have to just outright cut him.

My bad...I'm down to grab Butler as well and hoping we can squeeze something meaningful out of Alex. I'm thinking we'll have to ask for a player at this point rather than a pick. A proven commodity / swing at the draft? Any player we grab would come in at significantly less than the $20m we owe Alex next year.

I look for Veach to be pretty active this offseason in many ways. The guy clearly doesn't mind making trades, and he is going to want to flex his muscle during his first offseason I bet.

Key needs appear to be (in no particular order):
WR depth
LG
Backup QB
TE depth
Nose tackle
ILB (Next to Ragland)
OLB (Will Ford be kept? Can KPass start?)
CB
Safety (Chiefs are getting older at the position right now)

He might be but he’s a 1st round talent that’s played on some bad teams. He was only active for 2 games this year with the Jags.

The Chiefs are shallow at safety, expecially with Murray out and I think the Chiefs locker room could handle him.

What have they got to lose at this point?
