The NBA, NFL and MLB are dreaming up ways to play amid a pandemic, with talk of isolating players in Arizona or Las Vegas or maybe on the moon. It all sounds great, until you talk to people who actually know science.

Could be a long time before those get back.

I can't understand the point of speculative articles like that. Nobody can even know when it will be safe. All that we know is that it won't be happening in the next month.

Can a person come into contact with more than one person in a given period of time without assuming the risk of being infected or becoming a source of infection? Not without a vaccine.

Is there a vaccine? No.

Until there's a vaccine that is beyond the effectiveness of your average flu shot, there's absolutely nothing speculative about having things shut down.

I would think that athletes would be in much better shape to easily survive this thing. I mean, seems all I hear is that hospitalizations and deaths are almost exclusively among the elderly and those who suffer from existing respiratory conditions.

Considering how wrong the predictive models have been from our "experts" its hard for me to take anything anyone says regarding the future seriously.
