The SB Hangover: Do the Chiefs experience it?

I know nobody wants to think about this. But is this possible?

Or does Mahomes/Reid and overall team chemistry factor in too big of a blockade for something like that to happen?

Does this season all things considered provide the Chiefs an advantage since they're not going through any regime changes, coordinator changes, QB changes, etc. They're returning 20/22 starters. The rookies may be behind a little but the majority of the team, mainly the important impact players, all know the system, playbook, language, etc. A team that does have to go through that is going to need that extra OTA, training camp time etc. Not saying the Chiefs don't need it too, but they can probably get by with picking up where they left off and go from there and not skip a beat IMO.

History hasn't been too kind to the team that's won the SB the previous season. Hope the Chiefs can overcome that bad luck mojo much like they did the Madden curse.
