Can’t wait to get Hardman and Toney back

The offense lead the NFL in scoring as of yesterday and the offense put us in position to get at least 27 points but Butker missed the kick.

That was with the great play by Reader to bat a Mahomes pass away from a wide open Kelce inside the 10 and Kelce fumbling. It was also with Juju missing most of the 2nd quarter.

We saw MVS getting open a handful of times against this team even though he was the only pure speed we had at WR. Getting these 2 back changes everything.

Hardman alone as a gadget player changes a lot. Toney is a supremely talented player and we’ve seen it. You can’t drop 8 against that bc their combined speed makes it harder to defend for extended plays.

You can have a TE in to help a tackle and shift Mahomes to that protection bc of that added speed. And we’ll get Toney back for returns.

We haven’t seen a game yet where we have all of our weapons healthy and I think it’s a massive advantage. It’s gonna let Andy have so much more flexibility in playcalling.

The offense will be as good as it was in years when we get them back

I’m sure adding Hardman and Toney doesn’t change any of that considering Justin Watson, Jody Fortson and Skyy Moore (who I still really like) are taking those snaps.

Hardman is a JAG. Might go his entire career without having a 700 yard season. Toney is so full of promise, but his complete inability to play without constant injury issues is the reason the Giants were happy to flip him for a pick even though they need WRs.

Right now if there is hope, it's that Skyy Moore turns into a player.

If teams are gonna drop 8, keep running it at them.

Again, sure, it's gonna shorten the game, as long as they can get a turnover or get you to kick FGs. We did it against TB but we didn't turn it over and we nuked them.

Margins are slim against good teams. We had a ball batted down, they had one go full neo and the matrix thru 2 guys hands. We fumble and they pick it up, they throw a pick and get it negated because...well reasons.

Hendrickson ran around Brown 50% of the time. It was embarrassing.

Good ****ing Lord, Toney managed 6 catches here before going right back to the injury list. Why y'all think he's going to be a massive difference maker is beyond me.

He's also a completely different kind of end than you'll usually see, he beat Brown inside and still got back outside on a Mahomes scramble, you never see that shit happen ever.

As much as we wanna crush OBJ, he also didn't have his normal all pro LG next to him yesterday. Continuity on the OL is just a big deal.

I mean, on one snap.

Frank Clark abused Trent Williams once too.

I really hope he isn't grifting the Chiefs.

Nailed it!
Problem is its a HUGE thing when facing Elite QB's and certain teams.

If Toney is able to be as productive in the Playoffs as Sammy Watkins, that would be an awesome result for KC. At least he is not costing $16M per year like Watkins. If the injury problems continue, get rid of him at the end of his rookie deal.

Maybe he’s Sammy Watkins. If he is he’s cheap and could do for us what Sammy did in 2019 playoffs.

There’s no question he’s a difference maker when he’s on the field
