Some of us believed that we had a slight chance to win yesterday but we would have to play flawless football. Most of us didn't give the Chiefs a snowball's chance in hell of winning. Some even stated that it would be UGLY and a blowout in Indy's favor.

1. How many of you are pleasantly surprised that we hung in there for 3 quarters?

2. Do you think we have a shot at a wildcard this year?

I'm still optimistic. Call it myopic if you wish but this Chief squad isn't going to put up a losing season. Hang in there.

I'm beginning to believe that KC would be better off with a 4-12 type season this year. If God comes down and personally blesses this team, the most they could hope for would be a 10-6 season and a first-round playoff exit, IMO. That would get them another low first-round draft pick and a tough schedule. Maybe truly sucking instead of being mediocre every year would FINALLY cause some house cleaning to get done.

I doubt they'll be 4-12. They'll probably go 7-9 or 8-8. Bye Bye, Vick!

I've said all along that the Chiefs will begin the season 1-3. The big game will be week 5 vs. Seattle on Monday Night. If we can win that game going into the bye week, we will still have a good shot at winning the division during the second half of the season. I don't think there will be any wildcards from the west!
