Apparently, Sandy thinks it's my civic duty to explain and demonstrate how some of the dumbest posts made on this board are inaccurate.

If true, I'd like to add that to your list of cowardly actions.

If Berry is truly the best SS in the league and DJ is a pro bowler, considering we replaced them with Abdullah and JMJ we should have expected a major dropoff. Why haven't we? I think Parker upgrades over Kendrick Lewis, and Bailey and Vickerson upgrade over Tyson Jackson and Mike DeVito (how much so is up for debate). Sean Smith seems to have improved. Is that enough to explain the reason why this defense hasn't fallen off? They've done surprisingly well given how much they've lost. Keep in mind, we're not asking if Berry is any good. We're asking if he's worth the $10M he might have to get paid or whatever you pay for an elite SS. I don't know the answer to that. |

I already did this for you, you ****ing moron. I provided my take on the plays of Bowe yesterday, as well as the final play of the Denver game previously. And yet, because neither of those results painted your Alex Smith as a supergod, you chose to not only ignore them but to continually make remarks that were so laughably incorrect, one has to assume you're LD. FFS, you went on and on about how Bowe was running a drag route. Stills, .gifs, slowed .gifs from different angles; it doesn't ****ing matter. You're a ****ing idiot and no matter how much time I spent wasting in the hopes that you might make the resemblance of an accurate football related post someday, it would all be for naught.

There's no point in trying to do lengthy breakdowns anymore. People don't care, don't want to read them, and the 49ers fans will come out in droves, effectively eliminating any kind of quality conversation (even if has nothing to do with their Smith).

There were two or three runs of 10+ yards or more in the SF game where I looked at the hole Gore (and I think one of them was Hyde) was running through. JMJ was either blocked out or nowhere near the correct gap. Both of those plays in my mind stick out as plays that Derrick Johnson would have shut down for only a 2 or 3 yard gain. The runners would never have gotten deep into the secondary. Those are the kind of plays that show dropoff. JMJ isn't a bad player, but he's not Derrick Johnson. Because we're not replacing Johnson with a Vince Agnew-level player, the average snap is not going to illuminate very much dropoff from DJ to JMJ. |
