Morse was listed at 6'6 282 pounds by Rivals out of high school. Mizzou may have had him cut weight down into the 260-270 pound range after he committed, so they could build him back up to 300+ with less body fat. Also, he wasn't really an unknown out of high school. His senior of high school, he was rated a 5.7 three star by Rivals. That's the next step below a four star. He was the #51 rated offensive tackle in the country. Brandon Scherff was rated the #44 OT that year. Morse played at or around 300 his entire time at Mizzou.

There is one small problem with playing Morse at center: he can't snap the ball worth a shit.

So, Fanaika, a former 7th round pick on his sixth team that was signed to a 3 year $8 million dollar deal and could be cut Post-June 1 with $800k in cap savings this year, is more talented than Mitch Morse?

The Mizzou homers and hate around here is mind-bottling.

How would you know that Hamas? Were you at his pro day? Do you think there's a chance that the Chiefs might know something more about that than you do?

Yeah, he's pretty bad in the gun.

We'll see how he's able to do in getting it directly to Smith, but if they're going to play him at C, he'll need a lot of work before he can shotgun snap it. He's...uh....erratic, at best.

Even though Hamas sits on a belt sander to get his jollies off. Dude knows what he is talking about when it comes to his Missouri players, especially the shitty ones.

IF he says he cant snap the ball, then I would take his word for it over Reid and Co.

Well apart from the fact that his college coaches were so concerned about it that they shuffled their blue-chip G prospect into C mid-season, I guess there's nothing to worry about.

Sure, it's possible he got better since then, but the last time we saw Mitch Morse at C he was pretty much completely incapable of getting the ball back to Franklin at the chest better than 1/2 the time. He just could not get the technique down.

Who knows how it will go from under center - Mizzou never really did it.

I still think Morse likely plays G.
