If you put LeBron on the Spurs they probably win just as many Finals if not more!

Put LeBron on GS this series and Curry on Cleveland and what happens? How many games would the two have to play before Cleveland won A game? 25? |

Probably would be the most one-sided NBA Finals ever if that was the case. Of course, Curry likely would have never made it this far with that group of Cavs around him.

I understand. He was bad in the WC and the divisional ... But his postseason QBR that year was still 65 or so which is borderline elite by QBR standards

In a close game with 5 minutes to go, I'm taking Jordan. Every. Single. Time.
I've acknowledged that LeBron has carried several limping teams to the finals. But nobody did or ever will close a game like Jordan did. |

That's the point, though. Number of titles in any sport is ****ing meaningless to me. Tom Brady was dealt ace/joker. Manning dealt 7/8.
Kobe dealt AA. LeBron dealt 27. There is only so much you can so with the hand you are dealt. Granted, LeBron tried to buy a joker with the decision but that team was a paper team |

Anyway, LeBron should really be appreciated before he declines/becomes physically diminished. Just an amazing athlete. Regardless of the outcome, it was great to see that he still can produce that kind of ridiculous level on the biggest stage against one of the better teams (statistically) of all time. Just too bad about the rest of his teammates for the sake of this series being competitive.

And as long as you're ignoring the tape. LeBron is an elite playoff player and a very good closer. There is not a single player who closed games the way Jordan did. This playoff series might be one of LBJ's most brilliant, but it's also been riddled with turnovers and poor shot selection late in games.

But anyway, both are great, but different players though. I've always thought LeBron compares better as a player to Magic than MJ. For instance, people get mad at LeBron for passing the ball in the final seconds, etc, but that's who he is more than the other. When LeBron is off is when he tries to do too much. When he plays within himself, facilitating, then he scores easier and his teammates feed off of that and he makes them better. Again, people born in like 1996 compare him to MJ because they unfortunately didn't get to see Magic play either. Victim of time. Bottomline, people just need to appreciate these great players for what they are.
