I'm not ignoring anything. Nor did I make any claims whatsoever beyond pointing out that LeBron is one of the best playoff performers ever statistically (and will retire #1 in playoff win shares). If you choose to weigh the subjective "tape" over objective and unbiased facts, that's up to you.

It's not like we're comparing LeBron to Dellavedova. You're comparing a playoff statistical God to a playoff statistical God. So no, statistics aren't "fact" when you're comparing two players who were both outstanding statistically. You don't think strength of schedule and hand-checking might have some influence?

Jordan was unstoppable in the last 5 minutes of a game. LBJ is terrific late, but he's not Jordan. Nobody ever will be. Too turnover prone. Not a great late free throw shooter. Often takes bad shots. He redeems himself with spurts of outstanding play. But for the most part, his career has largely been about building big leads so that he doesn't have to play big playoff minutes down the stretch.

So the stats lie and intangibles the day. Fair enough.

I'm not getting into a fruitless LeBron/MJ thing, though. I've seen and could make decent cases for either one's career being better than the other (which would also probably make them the GOAT as well). It's a hard comparison, though, consider how different the two were/are as players and how much better Jordan's teams were than the teams LeBron has played on for almost the entirety of his career. I appreciate both.

I also don't like going down this road because it leads to silly nonsense like this too.

The problem is you only look at/use stats that fit your argument. You want to ignore that Lebron has done it in a terrible conference and hide the fact that he has eliminated 7 50 win teams versus Jordan's 20 (clearly demonstrating a lack of competition from which those stats come) and ignore when the competition gets better (western conference teams in the finals) he disappeares in crucial moments.

Dude watch the ****ing game before you comment on it ... LeBron hardly forced any shots in regulation and the ones he did were generally in low shot clock situations

He almost led his team to victory in the toughest place to get a win

Get a clue
The Warriors' plan worked fine, they took away LBJ's ability to facilitate and let him take the majority of the shots for the Cavs. A team with LBJ is far more dangerous when he keeps the ball moving and finds open teammates than it is when he tries to singlehandedly produce all of the offense/take the shots himself.

That was pathetic.

Jordan was generally lucky enough to play for teams that he didn't have to completely carry for 48 minutes just to keep them competitive with far better teams.

Unreal. How many times did Jordan have 2 other NBA all stars to help him win a title?

In fact, his main sidekick Scottie Pippen only went to one all star game without Jordan. When he left Chicago he was shit.

You need to admit Lebron can't win a title without all stars around him.

It's the sad truth.

And with that final bit of stupidity, it looks like this thread has been completely overrun by the usual trolls/morons. I'm out for tonight.
