How did that blowout work for you? Congrats, you guys won the game. Your team was the better team that day. I never said otherwise. Still, you know the final score was only a 1 TD difference.

At best, MU "slipped by" KU. It's only a matter of time before they start arguing they actually won it.

The other line emerging is that was our national championship game -- meaning of course it meant so much more to MU than KU. KU didn't really need that game -- they have so much more going for them.

Scoreboard doesn't matter to these guys. It's pointless to engage them. They are Denver Bronco fans. It's all Taco John spin to them.

Whoever said that the winners write history never met a KU fan.
C'mon, sk. You know many KU fans, myself included, are only giving this BS back because we have had enough of the BS from MUs. All we heard leading up to the KU/MU game was how MU was gonna destroy us. Now all we're hearing is "waaaaaa, we got screwed. I can't wait until VT destroys KU". Hey, KU may very well lose to VT. I am not declaring this a victory by any means. But I doubt that VT will blow us out even if they do win.

And I been saying all along that MU deserved the Orange more than KU. Doesn't mean I don't enjoy watching some of the obnoxious MU fans whine. No, that doesn't include you.

Doesnt matter MU had the lead ALL GAME and was dominating them, wow they closed the gap and got an exclamation safety wreath on their qb's forhead.

I'll admit, it's kind of telling when people who have no interest in either team call KU fans arrogant. (The Iowa fans around here, or the people who don't even like college ball).

Yep, MU had over 500 yards of offense. But KU had nearly 400 themselves. MU 29 first downs to KU's 22. Congrats on the win. Your team proved to be better. But let's not kid ourselves into thinking that MU destroyed KU. MU destroyed CU. KU destroyed ISU. MU did not destroy KU.

Any fan base that follows a team that makes Final Fours or BCS games regularly is going to be considered arrogant. But I guess that would make the KU bashers' argument weak and therefore you guys ignore those facts.

And another thing, Saul. Your KSU fanbase was just as bad when you guys were really good in football in the late 90s/early 00s. But let's forget about that because it's more fun to whine about KU fans.

No, it has nothing to do with that. Nebraska fans are not nearly as arrogant as KU fans (although they are much more delusional, and weird).

LOL@ the "BCS games regularly" comment, too, btw. Well placed.

Hey, you aren't even one of the arrogant ones, really. Do you read your fellow fans posts? What's funny is they couldn't have named a player on the team last year and now all of a sudden they are the most arrogant, reeruned posters on the internet.

Sayeth the man who regards KSU's current crop as THE GREATEST RECRUITING CLASS OF ALL TIME...

How's that 2008 crop panning out?

BTW, we held the Mayo...

I wasn't talking about KU when I said BCS games regularly. C'mon, bro. I think you knew what I meant.

Yes, I know there are some idiots. I know there are some arrogant ones. I also know there are some bandwagoners. We could argue why until we're blue in the face. It doesn't change the fact that every single fan base has them. Teams that tend to go to Final Fours in hoops or teams that go to BCS games often likely have more of those arrogant fans. It is just a matter of perception and on which side of that perception does your own team stand.

Ding Ding! The Mizzou argument that they just, "let off the gas" is sheer bullshit. You mean to tell me they went through the season absolutely obliterating teams and then decide against their bitter rival on a national stage, with a chance to show off, in the 4th quarter, aww let's take it easy. I'm not buying it.

Now I don't have the game on tape or anything, but I seem to remember noticing a blocking adjustment that KU's offensive line made to deal with the pressure Mizzou was getting. I was getting pretty drunk by that point, and correct me if I'm wrong, but up until that safety it seemed like KU's line was redirecting a lot of Mizzou's pressure around the ends leaving the middle open for Reesing to scan the field. I could be wrong.

Missouri won fair and square. They came out like gangbusters on D and KU looked lost on offense in the first half.
