Well, We Probably Should Have a Brian Orakpo Thread...
If we keep playing like this, we won't be in a position to draft Stafford. It's not good or bad, it is what it is.

With that being said, a genetic freak like Rak daddy would go a long way towards fixing the ills of this defense. He's not as long as Michael Johnson, but he's fast, explosive, and incredibly strong. Plus, he's taken boxing lessons, so Krumrie will love him with his ****tard slap-fight drill.

There could be worse selections in the 3-7 range where we will most likely choose.

BTW Orakpo fans, he disappeared in the Tech game, Harrel (sp) had all day to throw the ball. Was he hurt?

Yes he was injured he had an in-game injury, a sprained knee.

I guess you missed the part were he sprained his knee so badly, it initially looked like it might have been hyperextended?

He also was playing against the best LT he probably will face this season (Rylan Reed) while getting chipped every other play by a RB.

Tech schemed to negate Orakpo and did a nice job executing it (helped by his injury). The rest of Texas' D didn't step up and make plays on the other side to make Tech pay for all of the extra attention Orakpo was attracting.

The only question I have about him is his actual height. He doesn't look 6'4" to me. He looks closer to 6'2"

Ah don't waste your time. BPA is his rallying call. And that's fine, as long as you realize that some positions have greater impact/value than others (ex: LT > FB) and he doesn't see that.
