Okay, so there are a ton of posters on here that are eating healthy, trying to eat healthy, or 'thinking' about it.

So, I figured I would start a thread. I am all about holding myself accountable. The more people that I tell about eating healthy, the more people I would let down by not. {TY sensibleshiefsfan}

I just bought some 90/10 grass fed ground beef from Trader Joes, I used that seasoned salt and garlic powder from the Farmers Mkt (which are great seasonings)

I sauteed very brown - finished w/bbq sauce and 1/4th slice of Alpine Lace colby/swiss (which adds 25 cals per burger) - I like to top w/ slivered raw vidalia onions.

I love this baby broccoli, it's nice tossed in olive-oil and dusted w/ pepper and salt. I roast in the oven on a sheet pan for 13 mins on 425. It's a great vegetable to buy, for simplicity of preparation.

No these aren't the culinary delights I used to pull off almost nightly - but rather a nice 'simple' 'affordable' meal that anyone can do.

Fairly healthy also.

I really try to be practical and frugal these days, I'm by no means a cheap skate w/ the quality of food I buy, but I divided the 1# of beef into 4 quarter pound burgers, my goal after each store visit is to NOT waste any veggies or fruit, usually it works, sometimes I have to toss Kale, because honestly I'm not super wild about it - aside from in soup - juiced or roasted to get the crispy kale chips.
