We are trading for Hopkins if I had to bet. Probably can get him for a 3rd and 6th. Then we go defense and project heavy this year

the thing that really jumps out to me, when they engage with him, there's no walkback into the QB

he's got tons of athletic ability but he's got really functional strength too

I know that Brown Jr's biggest limitation when moving from RT to LT was that he lacked the speed to consistently stone speed rushers. That was a physical limitation he was never going to overcome. With Taylor, does he have any issues like that? If it's straight experience then KC can deal with that.

Yeah he has really good leverage on all the plays posted. You are also not beating him inside with a spin move or to the outside.

I'm curious if he can master his kick step on the left side, but we will see.

It's gonna be sketchy, it isn't that kinda year for WR's.

You're looking at guys like Josh Downs, Jalin Hyatt maybe Zay Flowers and those guys are more traditional receivers.

Start him off as a swing tackle. Draft the hell out of left tackles and make it your goal to kick Taylor out of LT, swing him back to RT. We may overpay him as an RT but it’s totally worth it if he can be a shot term swing option.

So RT to me seems like a great spot for a bandaid. Bring someone in who can hold the fort for a year or two until Taylor can get bumped back into RT. Maybe the chiefs feel good enough already about someone like allegretti or kinnard or prince wanagho to be a stopgap.

Feel pretty good about this.

Taylor is much more athletic than Brown is, it's why he got drafted quite a bit higher.

I think that move is happening too, I think it matters to the Chiefs to be the first team to go back to back in 20 years.

Put him at LT and be done with it.

Makes sense. I was curious if there will be any limitations in his transition outside of experience.

Now Brett is gonna draft one of these badass DL in the first rd.

Trenches gonna be strong boys. And that’s what matters
