Not trying to throw shade at all, but Sherron (as much as I love him) was a major reason for the NIU debacle. He just kept having bad play after bad play and kept trying to play hero ball. I'd contend he had a worse game than Jackson.

Here's the deal, bad games happen. When they happen in the tournament, it wrecks your season. Thing is, it took a hell of a bad game from us and a hell of a good game from a 3 seed to have the game turn out like it did. A couple lucky bounces on rebounds, or a couple ridiculous 3s rim out, and this game plays out far differently. And that's with KU still having a shitterrible game.

But you're always going to go get the best players. Always, and that's usually one and done's (**** you Josh Selby). If a guy like Jackson shows up in Lawrence you don't tell him, "Nope. You're too good. There's the door dude."
